Through Christ

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. - Philippians 4:13 NASB

Sometimes I don’t know what to say and the Spirit of the Lord gives me words; His words, instead of mine; which I lack when it comes to what I’m feeling. As I sat quietly waiting on a word to identify my emotion, this scripture appeared on my phone while listening to healing scriptures, then a light turned on in my heart revealing “strength” is what I need and that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

We can fill in the blanks with whatever the “all things” are with our own struggles. Maybe, like me, “all things” may look like, I can “believe” through Christ, I can “trust”, I can “wait.” I can “get through another day.” Now I see, I can “come up with the words” through Christ who strengthens me when it’s late, when I’m tired, when distractions are endless.

Can you fill in the blanks? Maybe you don’t feel you can take another day. Would you be willing to ask Christ to help? He will give you the strength to do all things. It may seem like a small nudge or waking up the next day after a horrible evening, it’s through Christ’s strength that we can…
