Use Me

“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said. “Here am I. Send me!” - Isaiah 6:8 (NASB)

Have you ever thought that you were not doing enough for the Lord? I struggle with the thought that I need to do more to influence more people for the Lord. Then unsurprisingly, the Lord showed me that He looks at my heart and that He will be the one who puts others in my path to help in one way, or another.

There may not be millions of folks we are impacting today but just one matters, and to that one person we can make all the difference in the world. Maybe you are that one person who needs help and somehow help hasn’t arrived - just yet. You can still be that person who makes a difference to another even in your own time of need by saying “Here am I. Send me!” then allow Him to put His plan for You in motion.

The Lord is teaching me to keep my hand raised, and willing, no matter the circumstance. It’s the motive of our heart and obedience He seeks as we seek Him throughout our day.

Relevant reading: Ephesians 2:10; Isaiah 46:4; John 14:23; 1 Chronicles 28:9; 1 Chronicles 29:17

Father, thank You for choosing us and loving us. Thank You for showing us that we can be useful at any time in our life. It is Your plan and Your purpose with our willing heart that matters to You.
