New Beginnings Church has been doing incredible things at the new site. From the work on the patio to fixing the beach, the place is really coming together! The newest installment at the property is the running, walking and biking trail!
This trail runs all the way around our property and is about a mile long. The work on this trail started last Tuesday and it has been coming together ever since. The trail will be very eco-friendly because it is made out of recycled crushed asphalt. It can be used by anyone in the community of Delaware to exercise and take in the beauty in our property.
A major concept of this new site is the inside-outside feeling and embracing God’s beauty in nature. We worship outside in a pavilion and our church building will incorporate as much of the outdoors as it can with natural lighting, decor and windows. In Job 12:7-10 it says,
“But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish in the sea inform you. Which of all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this? In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind.”
God gave us all of these beautiful creations and wants us to enjoy them. This trail is just another addition to the atmosphere at the new property to further incorporate the idea of a destination point. This entire property will be a place for the community and this trail is another channel to attract people to it.
Sometimes we don’t even realize the amazing parts of this world that God uses to create something beautiful. Check out this video below about stars and nature and using them all together for God’s glory.
Next time you are out in nature, hopefully walking along our new trail, take a second to look at everything around you. Take just a minute to take in the sights, the smells, the atmosphere. Do you hear a song like in the video? This is all God’s work! Next time you drive by the sight, we hope to have a path for you to walk along and enjoy the outdoors.
