And working together with Him. We also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain - for He says, “AT THE ACCEPTABLE TIME I LISTENED TO YOU. AND ON THAT DAY OF SALVATION, I HELPED YOU.” Behold now is “THE ACCEPTABLE TIME,” behold, now is “THE DAY OF SALVATION…” - 2 Corinthians 6:1-2 (NASB)
I love to hear stories of how others came to know Christ as their Savior. I love to see what the Lord is doing in their lives. Some of these people had no interest in the Lord and were living life from a hospital bed, prison, on the street, rehab for addiction; places a lot of us want to avoid. But God was interested in them, in that place, when He was the last thing on their minds.
Maybe life isn’t so bad, but it could be better, you feel you are missing something. You try to find that missing piece in activities, relationships, work, travel, etc. Maybe you haven’t thought much about God, but He led you to read this devotion; He is interested in you.
Wherever you are, whatever you are going through, God wants a relationship with you.
We don’t know what tomorrow will bring or the next few minutes. Unplanned things happen.
God left His throne, for you, He came into this world as baby, for you, He showed His face as Jesus, for you, and loves you so much that He paid a sin debt (maybe you didn’t know you owed) with His life on the cross, for you.

Will you receive today as “THE ACCEPTABLE TIME?” Call upon the name of Jesus and you shall be saved. Believe that He died and rose from the grave for you - as you are, so that you can be with Him for all eternity, your “SALVATION.” He will fill the missing place in your heart that is meant for Him.
Heavenly Father, thank you for calling us today to heed Your voice and the truth of our need for Jesus our Savior.
